My 1980 rx-7
i've owned it since 2002 and is my first car smile.gif
Sort of orientated the car around circuit racing

heres a photo taken the day I got it from a farm at Fernvale in late 2002. I ground away the 2 inches of bog from the rear and learned to weld  Was quite a bit dirtier than that as soon as i got it i started washing it to see what i could discover. i did all the panel beating and welding of new patches where i cut alot of rust away from behind the rear wheels. (usual spots)

ended up panel beating it and painting it with the help of my old man and it came up like in this short video

couple of years later i resprayed the whole car and added the spoiler, wheels and gt stripe as well as the 48ida and bridge port.

video of it idling

it definately needs some new suspension and going by the looks of the respeed catalogue I cant wait to get a hold of some respeed items and test em out on some australian tracks.

also some of the guys here might like to check out www.ausrotary.com for other rotary related stuff.

Very nice looking car! smile.gif You'll really love the feel of it once you get the suspension updated...

I love the look of your car. I currently have 2 1980 and 1 1979. Could you please tell me what size and offset those wheels are and where you got them from? I want some. I am ordering the Respeed components right now as well. Thanks.

Also.... What is the size of the bolt pattern on your wheels? Thanks so much.
