What's that big belt all about? Looks cool. Does it help with the belt slippage on the water pump?

its called a gilmer belt.basically a super charger or timing belt. the video makes it sound way way way louder and high pitch then it really is.
since its a round tooth gear type belt you dont have to worry about it slipping, and it doesn't have to be as tight as a normal belt. i tried useing the yahoo belt/lawn mower belt around the e shaft and water pump but it was to dam hard to get on then when i did it broke. i know i could of used the double belt setup but i deiced did go with this.

side note in the video i had two efans in front of the car so dont worry. i was having a hard time trying to find a efan for my car so i deiced to go back to the stock e fan. but i painted it red for good look's.
yes i know i need to clean my motor but iam going to wait till November when i take the car off the road and do a rebuild on it.

i had a similar gilmer pulley set on mine which is now in the garage, have you ever blown apart a water pump yet because i have. used to blow water pump gaskets at least once every 2 days and then it finally cracked the water pump housing which subsequently went flying into the radiator. ever since then i've only had stock pulleys on mine. i also found the gilmer also changed the way it revved out too.
