Currently have an 85 GSL-SE. Looking at your front kit so I can keep my 15" wheels using early 4X4.5 TII rotors. In pricing the calipers: the question arises; are they for a TII with non-adjustable suspension cars or from one with an adjustable suspension? They are different part #'s and prices. I want to make sure I get the appropriate parts.

If I buy your adaptor kit, is all I'll need are rotors and calipers w/ pads?

hey I'm not sure cause I am pretty knew to this forum and theyre parts but from what i have read you will need Fc hubs. And theyre is no diff in the calipers. get what ever is cheaper is just a way of mazda getting more for the same price. but they do sel calipers on re speed's web catalog. and just to let you know all TII rotors are 5 lug. so you will need the fc hubs.

hope that helps

Can you post a picture?

If the spacer did not go on all the way you need to fix it.

You can heat up the spacer with a torch and slide it further. You can also try to hit it hard enough to go on. Make sure to use something like a 2x4 that will not damage the spacer when hitting it. DO NOT use metal to metal hits to make it go on.

You can also have someone with a press puch it on. There is a nub on the backside of the strut housing. This small round nub is inline with the spindle snout. Use it to rest on in a press and then a spacer to press.

Let me know,

I tried the torch thing it got really hot and i hit it with a dead blow and a 2x3. as a matter of fact thats what i did when i installed it. yet i know it cant be on right because my other spindle slipped in all the way smoothly and with out any need to hit it. ill see about the press where would you recomend i make contact with out damaging it. if incase i do damage it is it possible for re-speed to provide another spacer? rolleyes.gif Click to view attachment

Yes we can supply another spacer. It would be good to get this one seated since they kind of expensive.

It may be on an angle. So the best would be to contact the last flat area down near the largest diameter. A piece of tube or even a large socket would work. You can use a press or a vice. It helps to have some help for a few more hands.

If you do need to get it off you should try some 3 arm pullers to get it off so you can attempt to re-use it.
