The SouthEast DIVision Finale is just a week away at the Atlanta Motor Speedway and there are 9 of us who can realistically win the CSP championship. My son and I are the only ones in a RX-7 and we're right in the mix. My son has gotten the best of me on several occasions and I hope both of us at least perform well against the Miata's and CRX's.

We're looking for a little redemption after getting thoroughly whipped at the Solo Nationals. I made major changes to the car in Kansas just to try to keep it from spinning out after every run. I put the car back to the way it was for the event at Nashville last weekend and the car was good again. This weekend we have a local event here in Huntsville. The course is supposed to be really fast so I'm not sure how much setup we're going to be able to do. But fast courses are always fun. Oh - whoever wins between my son and I tomorrow will win the regional championship.

It should be interesting, as I will be borrowing a friend's RX7 for the race, and it's not nearly as prepared as my own. I'm sure it will be a challenge, but that's ok. Once again, good luck.
