Full Version: Camber plate issues

Finally installed the camber plates a while back and discovered an issue, or made a mistake somewhere. Not really sure which at this point, but I think someone else had an issue I read about.

When fully assembled, the top nut on the top of the strut cannot be tightened all the way down to the spherical bearing. I am left with maybe 1/8 - 1/4 inch gap. Couldn't find a washer that was thin enough to not interfere with the bearing either. I just showed my Father in law and he suggested the addition of a spherical washer.

Anyway, just wondered if you guys are aware of this and if there is a solution in the works... I wanted to include some photos but can't here. Maybe I'll email them to you or something. Thanks Billy...

Stock struts are turned down to .624 diameter for the length of the 5/8 bearing. If they are turned down all the way you will see this.

If they were turned down this way, shoot me a pm and I can send you some spacers.
