I never sent mine in for the voluntary recall to do the weld reinforcement on the bung. Can I still send mine in to get welded or swap for the one without the external bung?

Are the brass fittings on the oil filler neck removable? I don't like brass parts, just a preference.

That was a super long time ago. If you send it in you can use it towards 15% off your next order. Yes the brass nipples are threaded so there are multiple ways for the filler to be setup. I am sure we could find stainless nipples for you as well.

I never had a working engine to put it in and I forgot about it as it got misplaced. Were there any more failures besides the one person? Can you PM me the price on the one without the bung? Are you doing the group buy next month for the filler neck?

On second thought, I can weld the unit for you. I will PM the address to send it to.

We will be doing a GB on the fillers soon. The one you are speaking of is a stainless steel part being done by someone who stole the idea.
