Full Version: Heat Shield for RH Drive

to fit the heat shield to a RH drive 7 means some slight modification to the fitting and the actual kit sue to the steering box. i took around 6mm off the end of the long support bars (outside end not engine side) then when i fitted the heat shield i fitted it between the exhaust and the nut rather than after the nut, then fit the support arms on the end of the studs, the back arm should just clear the steering box and becasue you took the extra length out of it to compensate for the shorter lentgh due to fitting before the exhaust nut the heat shield should fit just right, i couldn't get the rear allen screw to secure the shield to the support bar but the front one will go one and i found it sucure enough not to worry about
