Sorry I didn't run across your post any sooner... sad.gif This isn't really the right forum for this, but I'll still help you out.

Grab a can of Seafoam (found at most autoparts stores) and dump an ounce or two downt the primary (smaller) barrels of the carb. Make sure the battery is fully charged, then try it again. The Seafoam is usually enough to get them going again, but keep in mind it will smoke a lot when it does start up as the Seafoam burns off.

Hope this helps... smile.gif

I do the same with my 1st gen using ATF fluid. That's what the previous owner taught me and it works like a charm. And yes, watch out for blue smoke. DO NOT do this in a garage unsure.gif
It'll smoke for up to 1-5 minutes.

Anyone else eagerly awaiting the new rx-9? Rumor has it it's on the way.

Seafoam has a couple of advantages over ATF. It won't damage any of the rubber seals, and it won't foul your spark plugs. After deflooding with Seafoam, your motor will run better and stronger than it did before you flooded it. smile.gif

Hmmmm, I shall definitely ask my rotary sensei about this. Glad you mentioned this, thanks.
